The Gallery Assistant will also help organize and execute gallery events, such as openings, artist talks, and workshops, requiring strong event support skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous experience in a gallery, museum, or arts organization is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with contemporary art trends and artists. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic knowledge of art handling and installation techniques is beneficial.
