Job Description
Aircraft towing and repositioning activities as per ground safety manual 2.14 and technical instruction manual section 4-14, and equipment refuelling.
Assist in aircraft maintenance activities as required, mainly clearing the area around the aircraft for towing activities.
MAIN DUTIESAll aircraft towing activities, including re-positioning from bay to bay for passenger comfort during embarking and disembarking.
Full responsibility for refuelling vehicles and equipment.
At the start of each shift, ensure all equipment and vehicles are serviceable, clean, meet standards, and are correctly positioned in front of ramp offices.
Assist in positioning equipment on aircraft during maintenance and clear the equipment after maintenance is completed.
Assist in the distribution and collection of station mails, flying spanners, duty travel tickets, and correspondences.
EDUCATIONSecondary School Certificate with specialized training in aircraft and ground equipment towing.
EXPERIENCEAt least 2 years of experience in aircraft towing functions and ramp activities.

- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator license or certification.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of heavy machinery.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and site plans.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Ability to work long hours and on weekends if required.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
