An established International School in Bahrain is seeking a creative and experienced Whole School Art Teacher to join its team in August 2025. The school delivers a blend of the American and IB curricula and is committed to fostering creativity, expression, and artistic skills across all year levels.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with a strong background in art education to work in a diverse, international environment and contribute meaningfully to the school’s creative programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach art across the whole school, incorporating both American and IB curriculum frameworks.
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students’ creativity and artistic growth.
Support students in exploring various artistic media and techniques.
Plan and assess learning to ensure progress for students at all ability levels.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and school events.
Contribute to the wider school community through exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular clubs.
Requirements:
A degree in Art or a related subject.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, B.Ed).
Previous experience teaching art within an American or IB curriculum setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
Passion for developing artistic talent in students of all ages.
