  • Conduct ongoing assessments and progress monitoring to track student development and inform instructional decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including IEPs, progress reports, and communication logs.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and trends in special education and online learning.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
  • Provide direct intervention and support to students, both individually and in small groups.
  • Advocate for the needs of students with disabilities within the educational setting.
  • Utilize and manage educational technology tools effectively to facilitate remote instruction.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching license/certification with a specialization in Special Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching students with special needs.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Familiarity with various disabilities and their impact on learning.
  • Proficiency in using online learning platforms and educational technology tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to create differentiated instruction and assessments.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment are required.
