Amana Healthcare provides long-term care for adult patients with complex medical needs in an inpatient setting. Multidisciplinary care will be provided though intensive care unit (ICU) physicians, geriatricians, nurses, therapists, and a patient & family experience team who work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for those patients. It also offers specialized rehabilitation for individuals who require inpatient rehabilitation following a life-altering event, such as stroke, brain injury, spine injury, joint replacement, or amputation.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated ICU/In-Patient Nurse to join our team at our Long-Term Care (LTC) and Rehabilitation Hospital. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring critical conditions, and supporting patients through recovery and rehabilitation. This role requires clinical expertise, strong decision-making, and a patient-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU and in-patient units, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage ventilators, IVs, and other advanced medical equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific).

• Strong clinical skills in critical care, post-acute care, and patient rehabilitation support.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients admitted in inpatient wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), High Dependency Unit (HDU), and Rehabilitation units of a long-term care facility. The role involves continuous patient monitoring, administration of treatments, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting patient recovery and quality of life in line with Bahrain's National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) standards.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Monitoring

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in inpatient, ICU, HDU, and rehabilitation units.
• Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and overall patient condition, escalating concerns to physicians as appropriate.
• Administer prescribed medications, infusions, and therapies accurately and safely.
• Assist in ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and advanced life-support interventions.

Clinical Procedures & Safety

Collaboration & Communication

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
