  • Ensure contracts are commercially sound, legally enforceable, and aligned with Bahrain regulations and business risk appetite.

4. Corporate Governance & Transactions

  • Support the Chief Legal Officer in maintaining the Company’s corporate governance framework including drafting board resolutions, minutes of meetings, shareholder meetings, and corporate secretarial functions.

5. Litigation & Risk Management

  • Manage disputes, litigation, regulatory investigations, and coordinate with external counsel as necessary under the guidance of the Chief Legal Officer.
  • Establish and deliver internal training programs to promote legal awareness and reduce operational risks.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience in fintech, banking, payments, technology, e-commenrce, or tech-adjacent sectors. GCC experience is a must.
  • Licensed to practice law in a common law jurisdiction (UK, US, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory environments for financial services, e-money, and payment solutions in the Bahrain.
  • Team player with excellent stakeholder engagement, commercial negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance a diverse task list.
  • Arabic language skills are not essential but preferred.
