Job Purpose:

· To create specialized industrial knowledge and skillset capability to help Yokogawa solve complex problems and to streamline specific industry needs on its digital transformation journey.

· To focus on creating value for our clients by conducting communication and collaboration across business units and regions.

· SMEs are to be based at YKSA to support Yokogawa business drives in becoming a trusted partner for Digital Transformation and Operational Excellence through the Smart Manufacturing and IA2IA program.

· SMEs has accumulated great knowledge and understand our customers' operations, workflows and help companies to uncover specific industrial business and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

· Act as a strategic advisor and technical lead for pharma-related projects across Middle East Countries with focus on KSA markets.

· Bridge communication between customers, integrators, and internal teams for efficient execution of automation and digital system projects (DCS, SCADA, PLC, LIMS, QMS).

· Maintain and leverage a strong network of pharma industry contacts in Brazil, acting as a liaison with key stakeholders and decision-makers

· Market Understanding and Tailored Solutions: Gain in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry trends and provide tailored solutions for Yokogawa's products and services.

· Customer Requirement Analysis and Solution Proposals: Identify and analyze customer needs within the pharmaceutical sector and propose effective technical solutions.

· Effective Promotion and Sales: Promote Yokogawa's offerings effectively within the pharmaceutical industry, communicating value propositions to increase sales. Support pre-sales and post-sales activities with pharmaceutical clients.

· Technical Consulting and Support: Provide technical consultation to address industry-specific challenges and deliver optimal solutions to customers.

· Relationship Management and Reporting: Maintain strong customer relationships, collaborate with internal teams, and report activities to senior management for strategic decision-making.

· Internal training: Supports in-house employees in improving their understanding of processes that enable efficient conversations with customers and explains how to lead the meetings.

· Prepare & Deliver documents and materials on company products/services (for example reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings with customers, EPC's & End users.

· Develop, discover and execute to some extent Life Business Projects under smart cities when required depending on the size of Project and the requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification and Experience:

· Minimum 12-15 years Sales & Engineering experience is preferable.

· Proven track record in Level 2 or Level 3 system projects for pharma environments.

· Supervisory experience with DCS, SCADA, PLC, LIMS, QMS implementations and validation, handling timeline

· Understanding of Products and Processes: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

· Market Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze competition and conduct market research.

· Technical Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical information.

· Interest in Emerging Technologies: Interest in staying updated with trends and emerging technologies in the pharmaceutical market.

· Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to approach problem-solving from a customer-centric perspective.

· Identification of Common Industry Issues and Proposal of Alternatives: Ability to identify common industry issues and propose alternative solutions

· Candidate must be from a competitor in pharma technology or consulting or system integrator with pharma focus

· English fluency (Written and verbal). Arabic Language is a plus

Competencies:

· Candidates bring deep domain expertise in pharmaceutical systems, regulatory compliance, and project delivery especially in automation, validation, and digital systems across Level 2 and Level 3 layers (SCADA, PLC, DCS, LIMS, QMS).

· Solid understanding of global and local regulatory requirements.

Guest Service Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces), managing the menu (read and visually verify information), and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Experts – to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
