Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and source potential suppliers for various goods and services.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing trends and supplier capabilities.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and vendor agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders or deliveries.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related supply chain role.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and contract negotiation.
  • Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
