Responsibilities:
- Assist senior architects in all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation.
- Prepare architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, and building codes.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and client reports.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
- Perform site visits and surveys to gather information and monitor construction progress.
- Revise drawings and models based on feedback from senior architects and clients.
- Maintain project documentation and archives in an organized manner.
- Contribute to design discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Learn and apply local building regulations and zoning laws.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and specifications.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all architectural deliverables.
- Support the team in administrative tasks related to project delivery.
- Stay updated on architectural trends and sustainable design practices.
- Participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- 0-2 years of experience in an architectural firm; internship or project-based academic experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, or other rendering software is a significant plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building systems, and construction processes.
- Excellent graphic and presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Arabic is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative design team.
- Creative thinking and a passion for architectural design.
- Ability to take constructive criticism and learn quickly.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles is an advantage.
- Portfolio showcasing academic and/or professional work is required.

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Department Manager(DM)/Sr. GM the lead solution architect is responsible for managing YMA system & standalone DES proposals.
To work closely with the other cross sectional departments like, Product Delivery Center, Service, Quality, Legal etc.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Have in depth knowledge on Advanced Solutions such as Historian, Alarm Management, Advanced Process Control, Operator Training Simulator, Network Security and Digitalization Solutions.
- To work as an ambassador for Yokogawa within the MEA region
- Works diligently with the Sales team, to achieve the Sales & Marketing objectives/targets
- To adapt to changes in job profile/responsibilities as expected by Management.
- To be always Well Groomed, Passionate, Healthy Self Disciplined and ensure the team also understand and follow the same.
- To work in an agile manner and ensure support for overall team to consistently deliver submission of proposal/TQ in a timely manner within a committed schedule.
- To be a part of combined Taskforce within the team for any major MAC or system proposal with tight integration with other Business Units with initial and final review before submission to other BU along with DES as appropriate.
- To follow the latest Sales process flow and responsibility matrix as a part of the Manual and to ensure both self & team follow the same consistently.
- To support DM/Sr.GM on the various day to day decisions and reports to Management.
- To be as a motivated TEAM member with only positive attitude and specific focus, have open communication among the Sales team to achieve the Sales objectives.
- To manage Sales updates/portal regularly.
- Continuously improve the Proposal operations in YMA.
- To support on establishing and managing the training requirements of the solutions team in YMA, in consultation with DM/Sr. GM.
- To support on FEED along with team, POC, LCA proposal support, site surveys for replacement standalone/combined with system or Service projects.
- Supports Sales TEAM in customer techno commercial presentations/discussion.
- To support and Manage both Internal/External audit for Solutions.
- To support on the registration of our Company for standalone solution and any new solutions to ensure growth consistently.
Qualification and Experience
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of (8 - 10) years of experience in a similar role within the OT environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Competencies
- Proven experience with Yokogawa ICSS and Advanced Solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support engineers and sales teams.
- Ability to standardize tools and improve processes
- Capable to work autonomously, practical, decisive and self-starter.
Skills
- Proficiency in Yokogawa products and systems.
- Experience with network security, virtualization technologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of OT environments and related technologies.
