Job Description

The Lead Engineer - CCTV & Telecom will take care of the CCTV Solutions and Telecom Solutions Business for the processing industries.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  1. The engineer's principal role is to lead initiatives to design and implement system architecture onto the manufacturing environment.
  2. Create Functional Design Specification (FDS), Bill of Material during project execution stage.
  3. Write network specifications, design approach and documents, for project implementation.
  4. Support the activities of the multinational engineering team with the project manager.

Qualification and Experience

  1. Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Engineering / Electronics and Communication / Instrumentation or similar stream.
  2. At least 12 years' experience in CCTV / Telecom industry and 2 years of Leading project experience. Approximately 50% travel.
  3. Project experience of Access Control, PAGA and Anti-Intrusion System.
  4. Candidate should have experience of Oil and Gas Industry Project implementation.

Competencies

  1. Understanding of one or more of the following businesses: Oil and gas production, Refineries, Chemical plants.
  2. Understanding of one or more of the following functions in the processing industry: IT Security.
  3. Fluency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Auto Cad, Visio and Word.
  4. Capability in conducting business in English both in speaking and writing.

As a Lead Production Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product output, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. You will lead a team of production engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Your role will involve analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. This position requires a proactive individual who can balance strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving on the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of production engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Analyze production data and identify root causes of inefficiencies, defects, and downtime.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews of production lines and provide strategic recommendations for upgrades or modifications.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide expert technical guidance to resolve them promptly.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on production metrics, project progress, and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record of successfully optimizing production processes and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation, and quality control systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
