Job Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lean Manufacturing Implementation Lead to drive continuous improvement initiatives across their operations. This fully remote role allows you to leverage your expertise in lean principles and methodologies to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste, all without the need for a physical office presence. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of operational excellence and empowering teams to achieve ambitious performance targets.

- Lead the design and implementation of lean manufacturing strategies and projects, focusing on value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen events, Poka-Yoke, and Just-In-Time (JIT) systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction across all manufacturing and related functions.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees at all levels on lean principles and tools.
- Coach and mentor cross-functional teams to successfully implement lean initiatives and sustain improvements.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to drive rapid problem-solving and process enhancements.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives and track progress towards operational goals.
- Standardize processes and best practices across different manufacturing sites or departments.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the sustained application of lean principles.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate lean thinking into daily operations and strategic planning.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employee involvement and innovative problem-solving from anywhere in the world.
