Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement a varied program of leisure activities, sports events, fitness classes, and recreational workshops suitable for diverse age groups and interests.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of activities, including scheduling, venue setup, equipment procurement, and staffing requirements.
- Promote activities through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and on-site signage, to maximize participation.
- Supervise and provide guidance to activity instructors, coaches, and support staff, ensuring high standards of delivery and safety.
- Manage budgets for activities, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and facility policies.
- Gather feedback from participants and evaluate the success of programs, making adjustments as necessary for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external vendors, entertainers, and sports professionals for specialized events or workshops.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to activities promptly and courteously.
- Oversee the maintenance and inventory of sports and leisure equipment.
- Generate reports on participation rates, program popularity, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop partnerships with local community groups, schools, and sports clubs to broaden the reach of activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Hospitality, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., first aid, CPR) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in organizing and coordinating leisure activities, sports events, or recreational programs, preferably within a resort, club, or community center.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Creative and energetic personality with a genuine passion for promoting active lifestyles and guest enjoyment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is beneficial.
