We are looking for a proactive individual who can anticipate maintenance needs, develop cost-effective solutions, and ensure the longevity of facility assets. This role involves significant coordination with various internal departments and external service providers. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for facility systems.
  • Manage incoming facility maintenance requests and work orders.
  • Oversee the work of on-site maintenance staff and external contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Monitor the performance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct remote inspections and assessments of facility conditions.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance or building management.
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and CMMS systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and building codes.
  • Experience managing vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
