Our client, a leading property management firm, is seeking a Lead Facility Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of their commercial properties. This is an on-site role, requiring a proactive and skilled individual to ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a wide range of maintenance disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs. You will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance staff, coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, responding to repair requests, and ensuring the safety and comfort of building occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications: A vocational degree or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) is required; a Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or a related field is a plus. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in facilities maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Proven expertise in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in facility management. Proficiency in using maintenance management software. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. This role is based at our properties in Isa Town, Southern, BH .
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating the work of facility maintenance staff.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment.
- Responding promptly to maintenance and repair requests from tenants and property management.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
