Responsibilities:
- Assist senior nail technicians with preparing workstations and cleaning up after services.
- Perform basic nail services, such as manicures, pedicures, and nail polishing, under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, ensuring all tools are properly sterilized.
- Greet clients warmly and escort them to the nail station.
- Prepare clients for services (e.g., soaking feet, removing old polish).
- Learn and practice advanced nail techniques, including gel polish, acrylics, and nail art.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client comfort.
- Help manage inventory of nail supplies and products.
- Assist with front desk duties, such as answering phones and booking appointments, when needed.
- Promote nail care products and services to clients.
- Adhere to salon policies and procedures regarding hygiene and safety.
- Maintain a professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Handle client inquiries and concerns politely.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest nail trends and techniques.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues.
- Clean and organize the nail product display area.
- Assist with general salon cleaning tasks.
- Build relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Manage time effectively to stay on schedule for appointments.
- Provide hand and foot massages during manicures and pedicures.
- Learn about nail health and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Ensure clients are satisfied with their service before leaving.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or completion of a basic nail technician course is preferred but not always required for a junior role (willingness to train is key).
- Passion for nail care and the beauty industry.
- Eagerness to learn and improve skills.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, polite, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Located near Seef or has reliable transportation to the salon.
