Job Description
The principal roles of the position ARE to support in establishing and executing policies that ensure the safety of the employees, stakeholders and users of Gulf Air Group’s facilities, as well as the safety of processes and equipment related to the ongoing business continuity of the Group.
The position will conduct inspections, audit and provide insight on various work environments and activities under the direction of the management.
MAIN DUTIESInspect equipment and facilities, identifying potentially unsafe conditions and provide engineering solution.
Provide recommendations on various processes and improvements that will reduce risks and injuries to staff, stakeholders and general users of BIA.
Develop a high-level understanding of workplace processes and equipment to best discern opportunities for improvement and the elimination of unsafe conditions.
Perform investigation and root cause analysis for accidents and incidents that occur within the terminal and office areas of BAC and its sister companies.
Educate all levels of staff, including leadership, on best practices and proper equipment usage.
Provide training to leadership staff regarding safety regulatory requirements and changes.
Develop a positive safety culture throughout BAC and it subsidiary and sister companies.
Maintain a knowledge of relevant and up to date laws and legislation to ensure that BIA follows and implements the best industry standards and practices within Bahrain and relevant external accrediting bodies.
Perform regular audits on internal and external stakeholder ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are being followed and ensuring the overall safety of the work environment.
Perform other duties as requested by the management within the same scope of work.
EducationBachelor's degree in business administration or any other equivalent major.
ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment by developing and implementing policies, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Bahrain Labour Law , Ministry of Labour , and international safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
