Overview
Serve as technical expert and lead engineer for all NAVCENT/C5F/MOC/CMF systems (SIPRNET, NIPRNET, SCI LANs, CENTRIXS, BICES, JWICS, DCGS-N, FMV, GCCS-J Family of Systems (FoS) and GCCS-M and others).
Responsibilities
- Act as technical expert and lead engineer for all NAVCENT/C5F/MOC/CMF systems.
- Support Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, Solaris and network security technologies and architecture.
- Oversee the design and implementation of NAVCENT core technologies.
- Oversee NAVCENT C4I systems cybersecurity posture and system architectures.
- Work outside of normal work week hours will be required, to participate in meetings, troubleshooting efforts, and installations or upgrades.
Qualifications
- Education and Certification:
- BS in Information Technology (or equivalent technical degree) or 7+ years technical experience in related discipline required.
- Certification as IAT-III (per DoD Inst 8750.1 and Navy guidance) required. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED or GCIH with IA and CE required.
- Experience:
- 7+ years’ experience with Navy or DoD Networks (SIPRNET, NIPRNET, SCI)
- 7+ years’ experience C4I Systems experience: CENTRIXS, BICES, JWICS, DCGS-N, FMV, GCCS-J Family of Systems (FoS) and GCCS-M and others, Coalition Partner Network (CPN-X) and other C2 Systems Administration
- Clearance Requirement:
- TS/SCI required.
- Skills:
- Technical expertise and engineering of NAVCENT/C5F/MOC/CMF systems (SIPRNET, NIPRNET & SCI LANs, CENTRIXS, BICES, JWICS, DCGS-N, FMV, GCCS-J Family of Systems (FoS), GCCS-M and others)
- Detailed knowledge of MOC C2 systems to include knowledge of fleet communications and architectures.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and the ability to plan secure architectures.
- Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to communicate well with senior Navy/DOD officials and technical personnel.
- Candidate must be able to provide training as needed.
