A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE) are a strong plus. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on telecommunications and 5G technologies, is mandatory. This role requires a strong presence in our facilities in Riffa, Southern, BH to manage critical physical infrastructure and collaborate closely with on-site teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and wireless technologies, with a specific focus on 5G architecture and deployment. Proven experience with network simulation and analysis tools, as well as strong troubleshooting skills, is essential. Experience with cloud networking platforms and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) is highly desirable. You should be adept at working under pressure and managing critical network incidents. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for working effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
