**Position Summary**
The Senior Network and Security Implementation Engineer is responsible for implementation and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructures. This role combines deep technical expertise in networking and cybersecurity with leadership and project management skills to ensure robust, high-performance, and secure enterprise systems.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**
The Senior Network and Security Engineer will be responsible for:
**Network Design & Implementation**
+ Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) based on business requirements.
+ Configure and install network devices and services in the field (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, Proxies, VPNs).
+ Implement Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
+ Oversee network infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
**Security Engineering**
+ Configure and manage Next Generation firewalls, VPNs (IPSec, SSL), and intrusion detection/prevention and Network Admission Control (NAC) systems.
+ Implement network segmentation and access control policies.
+ Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
+ Ensure compliance with industry security standards and frameworks.
**Operations & Support**
+ Perform network maintenance and upgrades including patches, hotfixes, and firmware updates.
+ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and availability.
+ Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve escalated technical incidents.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes.
+ To perform patch and software upgrade on the security devices and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly.
+ To troubleshoot equipment and network problems and to open tickets to vendors - Cisco, Juniper, F5, Palo Alto, etc. through to problem resolution.
+ To raise equipment, Return Material Authorizations (RMA's) and to track these through to problem resolution.
+ Work on developing network optimization and configuration reviews
+ To hold technology workshops with the Customers to discuss equipment and network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions.
+ Support design and operations and planning of Network & Security products within the Customer infrastructure
+ Responsible for maintaining documentation, diagram, Incident Reports, Root Cause Analysis and Quarterly Health Checks.
**Project & Vendor Management**
+ Lead strategic infrastructure projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
+ Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies.
+ Ensure timely delivery of network solutions within budget and scope.
+ Prepare LLDs as per approved HLD proposed by Pre-Sales Team.
+ Prepare Network Diagrams and MOPs.
+ Prepare UAT activities and update implementation related documents.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree minimum required in Computer Sciences
+ **CCIE** (Enterprise Infrastructure & Security track or Data Center) is Preferred
+ 10+ years' experience in Implementing and managing **Enterprise** **Networking & Security Solutions** from multiple vendors.
+ Detailed technical experience in installation, operation & migration of next generation firewalls - Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Juniper and FortiGate Firewalls.
+ Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet or similar technologies.
+ Strong knowledge of IP, NAT, Site-to-Site IPSec and Remote SSL VPNs, URL Filtering
+ Expert level hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, Umbrella, Email Security Gateway and Web Security cloud poxy and on-prem solutions.
+ Advanced Implementation and hands-on experience on Application Delivery Controllers (ADC), Load Balancers (F5, Citrix, Radware).
+ Implementation and Operation experience with Cisco ISE NAC Solution.
+ Implementation and Operation experience with Cisco DNAC and DC ACI Solution.
+ In depth experience in Threat Prevention and network AMP technologies - Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto Threat Prevention and Wildfire.
+ Advanced level Switching knowledge with Cisco Cat9k, N9K DC ACI and Campus layer switches: Vlans, VTP, Trunking, Spanning-Tree, Ether-channels, Stacking.
+ Advanced Indoor and Outdoor Enterprise Wireless Implementation and Hand-on experience (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba).
+ Cloud WAF (F5, Akamai, Cloudflare, Radware) experience is plus.
+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
+ Team player, self-motivated, creative and flexible, avid learner
+ Strong Presentation skills.
+ Spoken and Written Fluency in English.
