Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and produce a variety of broadcast media content, including television segments, online videos, podcasts, and radio programs.
- Manage all aspects of the production process from pre-production (scriptwriting, storyboarding, scheduling) to post-production (editing, sound mixing, graphics).
- Collaborate with journalists, anchors, presenters, and other creative personnel to develop compelling narratives.
- Direct camera crews, sound engineers, and editors to ensure the highest production values.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, editorial standards, and legal requirements.
- Source and secure necessary resources, including talent, locations, and equipment.
- Manage production budgets effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in broadcast media production.
- Oversee the editing process, ensuring seamless integration of visuals, audio, and graphics.
- Develop creative solutions to production challenges.
- Maintain an organized archive of production assets.
- Coordinate with broadcast operations teams for final delivery and scheduling.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Evaluate the success of produced content and use insights to inform future productions.
- Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in broadcast media production, with a strong portfolio of diverse projects.
- Proven experience in directing and managing production teams.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audition).
- Solid understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques, and sound recording principles.
- Excellent storytelling, scriptwriting, and visual communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and budgeting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a live broadcast environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
