Troubleshooting operational challenges and developing innovative solutions to complex drilling problems will be a core aspect of the role. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline, coupled with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in drilling engineering. Hands-on field experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of drilling hydraulics, well control principles, directional drilling, and solids control is essential. Proficiency with drilling simulation software (e.g., WellPlan, StressCheck) and excellent project management skills are required.
