Our client, a prominent and expanding conglomerate with diverse business interests, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Operations Director to spearhead their operational excellence in Manama, Capital, BH . This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of business strategies across multiple divisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in operations management, exceptional leadership acumen, and a profound understanding of business process improvement and strategic planning.

- Oversee and manage all aspects of daily operations across the organization, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and plans that align with the company's long-term objectives and market demands.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
- Manage and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to monitor operational effectiveness, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Oversee supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other departmental heads to ensure integrated business planning and execution.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and systems to improve operational capabilities.
- Champion a culture of safety and operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency, process improvement, and cost reduction in complex organizations.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in various operational methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) and their practical application.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant operational software.
- Experience in diverse industries is a plus.
