  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize operational budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Set clear performance objectives for the operations department and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departmental heads (e.g., Sales, HR, Finance) to ensure seamless cross-functional operations and alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure optimal performance and service levels.
  • Oversee the maintenance and effective utilization of operational assets and equipment.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on operational performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives related to process automation and technological adoption to improve operational efficiency.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure operational resilience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the logistics, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
  • Proven track record of optimizing operational processes and achieving significant improvements in efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and operational management software.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
