This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of vehicles and material handling equipment, including forklifts, loaders, trucks, and other heavy machinery. The mechanic will work closely with the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and obsolescence.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock, generate reports, and analyze performance.
- Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance inventory efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the retail sector.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, specialized retail software) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
