Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for children with a variety of developmental, neurological, and learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to children in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care (dressing, feeding), handwriting, visual-motor integration, and social-emotional regulation.
- Educate and train parents, caregivers, and teachers on strategies to support the child's development and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapists, educators, and medical professionals, to ensure holistic care.
- Adapt activities and environments to meet the specific needs of each child.
- Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with professional standards and insurance requirements.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training.
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Advocate for the needs of children and their families within the community and educational systems.
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and treating common pediatric conditions (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays).
- Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and interventions relevant to pediatrics.
- Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
