Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the drug safety surveillance activities for assigned products.
- Perform medical review and assessment of adverse event data, including case narratives and causality assessments.
- Conduct signal detection and benefit-risk assessments for pharmaceutical products.
- Develop and implement risk management plans and pharmacovigilance strategies.

- Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent medical degree.
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing pharmacovigilance teams.
- In-depth knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology and medical terminology.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Position Summary:
A Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a specialist physician responsible for restoring function and quality of life to patients with physical impairments, disabilities, or injuries. The role focuses on non-surgical approaches to improving mobility, reducing pain, and promoting independence through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. The PM&R consultant works as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients recovering from neurological, musculoskeletal, or post-surgical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or chronic illnesses and develop rehabilitation goals and treatment plans.
- Provide expert guidance in managing conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, musculoskeletal pain, and amputations.
- Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary rehab teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists.
- Monitor and adjust therapy programs based on patient progress.
- Perform and supervise procedures such as joint injections, spasticity management (e.g., botulinum toxin), and nerve conduction studies.
- Educate patients and families on condition management, adaptive techniques, and assistive device usage.
- Collaborate with surgical, neurological, orthopedic, and primary care teams to ensure holistic care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Completed specialty training or residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Valid medical license and registration with relevant medical authority.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine, preferably in a hospital or long-term care setting.
