Overall Role Purpose
  • The Digital Marketing Specialist’s prime responsibility is to develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing strategies across various channels, including social media, email, SEO, and online advertising. This role will ensure that all digital communications adhere to the brand guidelines and values set by DHL.

Your Tasks:
  • Handle digital marketing campaigns from initial concept through execution, including budgetary management.

  • Produce and drive internal and external digital communication plans in conjunction with Functional Managers across the business.

  • Efficiently handle all external digital agencies to ensure approved project and budget adherence with approved quality.
  • Ensure the team stays motivated and IKO targets are set for them along with an annual development plan.
  • Follow and adhere to the annual evaluation process.
  • Work to agreed development goals.
  • Facilitate communications management; cascade appropriate messages to all staff.
  • Work on internal campaigns and events to ensure that all DHL members are well-informed, educated, and encouraged.

Your Profile:
  • 3-5 years of digital marketing or project management-related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with Marketing/PR specialization.
  • Experience in conceiving and delivering digital marketing ideas to peers and third parties.
  • Ability to lead multiple digital marketing tasks and long-term projects efficiently.
  • Ability to excel under tight time frames and deliver work in a timely manner and on budget.
  • Creative and analytical ability.

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support Gulf Air’s email campaign operations and reporting as well as regular and ad hoc digital reporting, and develop cross-marketing and testing campaigns in addition to supporting email campaign setup.

He/She will contribute to the briefing process and support the delivery of campaigns to meet exacting deadlines by managing each step in the workflow. The job holder will need some basic coding ability in HTML.

Responsible for the execution and optimisation of the digital display campaigns, Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing, to improve conversion rates for digital marketing campaigns and Gulf Air’s website and subsites.

Responsible for daily iteration of digital marketing campaigns through all areas of the campaigns life cycle, with a high focus on building the social media presence of the brand, using tags, promotions, user engagement and knowledge of algorithms.

MAIN DUTIES
  • Supports and proactively manage the development and execution of all digital marketing initiatives including social media, website, and automation programs. Moreover, help improve position of ecommerce platforms.
  • Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet.
  • Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability.
  • Execute and track Search Engine Optimisation and Search Engine Marketing campaigns.
  • Develop social media plans and own the social media content calendar, and direct efficient use of paid search.

  • Work to strict deadlines and KPI’s as set by the Manager Digital Operations.
  • Support the Marketing team in uploading content across our websites and portals.
  • Establish a variety of automated campaigns to support customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Segment audiences and optimize campaigns to increase effectiveness.
  • Identify additional digital channels to regularly communicate Gulf Air products and offerings to target audience.
  • Leverage research and competitive intel to position Gulf Air as the airline of choice.
  • Review website regularly: check links, enhance user experience, assure site is easy-to-navigate and runs at optimal performance.
  • Check originality of site, ensuring content is not duplicated on other platforms.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador to ensure all material consistently portrays the Gulf Air brand promise, identity and positioning.
  • Follow campaign operations best practices as developed by the Digital Operations Manager.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing with good industry knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge in the area of content production for the internet (text, images, HTML and other multimedia).
  • Experience in data management platform will have an added advantage.
  • Extensive internet marketing knowledge, with particular reference to Search Engine Optimisation, e-Mail marketing, SEM and display advertising.
  • Have a thorough understanding of database marketing best practices.
  • Technical and/or web education (formal or on the field).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.
Qualifications
  • University degree level of education (diploma) in Business Management, IT or Marketing.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and is able to articulate his/her views crisply and convincingly.
  • Experience working with data, with the ability to see trends and to extract actionable insights from data to drive results.

Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce and digital services company, is seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to enhance their online presence and drive customer engagement. This full-time position is based in Muharraq, Muharraq, BH , offering a flexible hybrid work model that blends office collaboration with remote flexibility.

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing. You will play a crucial role in increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and a keen understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and optimize SEO efforts (on-page, off-page, technical SEO) to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
  • Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns (PPC/SEM) across platforms like Google Ads and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Create engaging and relevant content for various digital platforms, including website, blog, social media posts, and email newsletters.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance analysis.
  • Manage and grow the company's social media presence, developing content calendars and engaging with online communities.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), providing regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts support lead generation and conversion goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage digital marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee website content updates and ensure a user-friendly online experience.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Work closely with graphic designers and web developers to create compelling digital assets.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
  • Strong proficiency in SEO, SEM/PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or HubSpot are desirable.
