Primary role: Review and sign-off on the Business and Technical requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.
Job description:
- Ensure that business requirements are correctly translated into functional and technical requirements.
- Identify potential gaps within business and technical requirements, and recommend workarounds that are fit for business needs.
- Act as a main focal point for all technical requirements related queries across the organization.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure detailed requirements are accurate, complete and can be understood by a diverse group of users.
- Act as a technical advisor to the business, proposing technical solutions to suggested business needs.
- Proactively identify improvements and harmonization opportunities within technical requirements.
- Ensure that technical enhancement proposals are analyzed and reviewed thoroughly.
- Ensure the quality assurance team covers all functional and technical requirements.
- Consult on a regular basis with leadership to align expectations and prioritize deliverables.
- Participate in team demos.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with producing/reviewing detailed business & technical requirements, documentation and user stories.
- Broad experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, system architects and senior software engineers, often at a detailed technology level.
- Experience of delivering large scale systems in an agile environment with experience of using agile tools.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal direction from management.
- Strong customer service, analytical, research, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of forming and advocating for an independent viewpoint.
- Demonstrates longer-term strategic thinking in order to keep abreast with what's possible technically, operationally and professionally.
