  • Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Proficiency in process mapping, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and CAD software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Our client, a leading manufacturing and production powerhouse, is actively seeking an experienced and analytical Industrial Process Improvement Specialist to enhance their operational efficiency. This hybrid role, combining on-site presence in Salmabad, Northern, BH with flexible remote work, is crucial for driving continuous improvement initiatives across various production lines. The successful candidate will apply industrial engineering principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity and quality.

As an Industrial Process Improvement Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the company's operational excellence journey. You will work closely with production teams, management, and other departments to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate process improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing manufacturing processes, identifying inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to quantify process performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Develop and implement new processes, procedures, and layouts to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Design and conduct time studies, motion studies, and capacity analyses to establish production standards and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering, to implement changes effectively.
  • Train and coach employees on new processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations for senior management.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and automation solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure that all process improvements comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in process improvement roles within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing Lean/Six Sigma projects resulting in tangible improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
  • Understanding of supply chain logistics and inventory management principles.
