Job Description

- Develop organizational structures, policies, procedures and administrative systems.
- Manage and direct daily production regarding the resorts and Quality Assurance Program.
- Implement new standards which will enhance the quality standards of Resorts.
- Supervise and prepare high quality standards and consistent results.
- Coordinate with the relevant department manager to fix the noted deficiency.
- Track and follow-up with departments to ensure needed corrections have been completed in a timely manner.
- Report to the GM on the results of routine checkups, corrections and any quality control issue that may arise.

Language Requirements

Arabic - Native / Mother Tongue
English - Fluent / Excellent

Driving Requirements

Own a Car: Any
Have Driving License: Any

Job Skills

- Bachelor degree
- Min 8 years of experience at the same position with reputable organizations performing the same duties.
- Fluency in Arabic & English.
- The ideal applicant must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, with the ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions.
- Arab Nationalities preferable who has previous experience in Saudi Arabia.

  • Extensive knowledge of WMS, DSS, QLIK and QMF.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team
  • Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.

Responsible for personal safety and that of all employees under of the organization, including others who may be affected by the company’s activities.

RESPONSIBILITY
- Advise employees maintaining the site to do so as per regulations and company Safety Policy.
- To conduct inspection, daily observation at site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
- Verifies that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to Manager HSE.
- Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses and report to Manager HSE.
- Ensure accident and near-miss reporting procedures are understood and complied with, and assist with accident investigations.
- Ensure all employees and sub-contractors are suitably trained/competent to carry out the prescribed task and that the necessary licenses/certification of competence are in force and appropriate.
- Ensure the statutory notices, the safety policy, Insurance Certificate and the names of appointed First Aiders are displayed and maintained in prominent location.
- Communicate Safety rules and regulation in tool box talk/minutes of meetings weekly.
- To observe and maintain PPE, Fire Safety, Fall Arrest System, Ladder Safety, Scaffold & Cradle safety, Lifting Safety for work operation.
- Strongly involved in safety material requirements, allocation and emergency response plans.
- To record and report injuries, unsafe condition, unsafe act, near misses immediately.
- The safety officer reviews and approves all subcontractors’ safety plans.
- Assign Pre-inspect the tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
- Exercises on how to manage emergency situations through internal workshops, external trainings, periodical mock-ups.
- To conduct risk assessment and hazard analyses for each and every job executed at site.
- Coordinates handling of hazardous chemicals (Hazchem) and prepare COSHH Assessments.
- Induct Safety policies and procedures by conducting regular awareness programs and meetings.
- Performs emergency response drills every 6 months.
- Monitor the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
- Maintain good housekeeping, waste segregation, and removal of waste.
- Rectify and submit the reports from and responds to orders issued by Department of Labour inspectors.
- Verify the location, activity and competency before issuing the PTW (Permit to Work).
- Conduct Pre Task Briefing (PTB) and MSRA (Method Statement& Risk Assessment) Briefing prior to any high risk activities in the site.

- Attend regular meetings, workshops and trainings (Internal/External) organized by the Manager HSE.

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

  • Implementation and management of the company’s health and safety management system.
  • Promote health and safety best practice.
  • Plan and supervise safe mechanical lifting operations.
  • Supervise workshop and site activities to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Provide necessary documentation for executing projects.
  • Support the Tendering Engineer during tender process with health and safety related documentation and questionnaires.
  • Conduct and support internal and external health and safety audits.
  • Ensure corrective action plans from audits, accidents / incident reports are implemented and closed out in a timely manner.
  • Ensure risk assessments are up to date and are communicated across the organisation.
  • Establish relationships with client health and safety teams.
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements.
  • Drive company health and safety initiatives until completion.
  • Submission of monthly health and safety reports in a timely manner.
  • Host internal monthly safety meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need :

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
  • NEBOSH General or International Certificate.
  • Experience working with ISO management systems such as ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.
  • Experience in planning and supervising lifting operations (Qualified LEEA Lifting Supervisor is preferred).
  • Experience delivering health and safety training programs.
  • Experience carrying out accident investigations and generating RCA reports.
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical equipment (motors, generators, fans) .
  • Strong communication & organisational skills.
  • Ability to act independently.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
