The position is the company representative to major government and military agencies. Primary role is handling administration of existing contracts and preparing bid documents for new business opportunities. The office manages all storage and bulk fuel sales outside of the USA to these agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to day storage operations in Bahrain and UAE for the existing storage contracts, assists bid-to-contract process for new business opportunities including offer preparation and negotiations.
- Manage customer queries and serve as a customer service representative with influencing skills internally and externally.
- Manage Terminaling Supply and logistics co-ordination, cargo shipments and inventory reporting, working closely with internal and external parties.
- Deliver commercial value by exploring new business opportunities (military and government) and maintain/expand existing businesses.
- Actively participate in tank Turnover and Inspection (T&I) projects, analyze and report any investigation findings and root cause analysis
- Plan and execute incident free operation. Review and update Quality Control and Operating Procedures as per the requirements of the contracts and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Offers expert knowledge on Storage & Aviation’s products and communicates their value
- Acting as focal point on military related queries and driving internal (cross -regional) stakeholders to provide an effective service.
Key Skills:
- Engineering or relevant qualification is a must.
- Subject Matter Expert in SAP and government contracting procedures.
- Strong analytical and financial skills necessary, maintaining data integrity and costs as well as industry compliance understanding.
- Fuel terminal operations experience would be beneficial.
- Ability to clearly communicate in both written and spoken English with all levels of organization is imperative.
- Fluency in Arabic will be a distinct advantage.
