Our client, a leading global air cargo operator, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Flight Operations Specialist to manage and optimize their flight schedules and operational logistics. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to seamless flight operations from anywhere. You will be responsible for coordinating flight plans, managing crew scheduling, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and optimizing aircraft utilization to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation operations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex logistical challenges in a dynamic environment. You will work closely with pilots, ground crew, and regulatory bodies to ensure all flights operate safely and on time.

- Develop, monitor, and adjust flight schedules to maximize efficiency and meet operational demands.
- Coordinate aircraft movements, ensuring timely departures and arrivals, and managing any disruptions.
- Manage crew assignments and ensure compliance with duty time regulations and crew availability.
- Liaise with maintenance control to schedule and track aircraft maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all flights comply with local and international aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA).
- Communicate effectively with pilots, flight attendants, ground handling agents, and other operational stakeholders.
- Monitor weather conditions and other operational factors that may affect flight schedules, and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Optimize aircraft utilization and fuel management strategies.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Participate in operational risk assessments and contribute to safety management systems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new operational procedures and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in flight operations, airline operations, or air cargo logistics.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, flight planning principles, and crew scheduling.
- Proficiency with flight operations software and systems (e.g., navigation databases, scheduling software, weather briefing tools).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with safety management systems (SMS) and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and communication tools.
- Experience with global flight operations is a significant advantage.

- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
- Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate remotely with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with earned value management (EVM) is a significant advantage.
