**Major Function**:

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Offers an attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraints

- To assess the report potential loss situations in the Hotel in order that accident profit loss may be prevented and to protect both Company, guest and staff property against theft from both inside and outside Premises.
- To fully investigate and report thefts and criminal offences occurring in the Hotel and during tour of duty record all relevant incidents in the Guest Relations Management Diary, compiling all necessary crime reports and statements.
- To report and if possible correct all breaches of safety regulations including smoking restrictions and assist as directed with the prevention of accidents.
- To record all occurrences concerning Security in the Managers Diary and to record all other incidents in the appropriate books and documents provided.
- To ensure that full and accurate information is recorded at all times.
- To record all complaints regarding the loss of personal property within the premises in the prescriber manual.
- To assist in the administration handling of all property found within the Hotel, ensuring all records are correctly and legibly entered. Ensure all property where acquired is collected on a daily basis, correctly recorded and place in the property store in a concise and orderly manner.
- To ensure that no unauthorized persons enter Company premises and to ensure that all person properly seeking admission are courteously received and assisted.
- To carry out security checks and searches on staff and contractors entering and leaving the Hotel.
- To assist enquiries from the Civil Police or other Government Departments associated with Security.
- To be familiar with the anti-terrorist and bomb threat procedure and to be able to act as a leader giving prompt assistance in the case of accident, fire or other emergency.
- To be aware and knowledgeable of the Hotel fire/bomb plan, including all fire fighting equipment, responding to all fire/bomb alarms and acting in accordance with the standard fire/bomb instructions, also responding to all exit alarms, making a full investigation and reporting accordingly.
- To report any infringement of the Fire Precautions Act to the Maintenance Manager.
- To observe and report and hazards/potential hazards to a guest or member of staff under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to the Maintenance Manager, reporting same to the Operations Manager and ensuring immediate remedial action is taken.
- To attend such training courses as required extending knowledge and maintaining efficiency of Security and are trained to certificate standard in First Aid.
- To carry out such duties as may be required by the Security Officer.
- Security Officers are to ensure that they maintain the standards acknowledged and laid out in the skills training programme, studying professional publications to keep abreast of new developments, trends and systems in the security field to comply with:
- Standard orders for Security Staff
- The code of Practice for Security staff
- Losses whilst on duty should be minimised.
- Ensure whilst on Guest Relations Management Shifts, comfort and safety of guests as well as
- well being of staff. To enter in Guest Relation Diary and action any reports.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Security Manager and Residence Services Manager, the main duties of the Residence Security Officer are to control the access and egress to and from areas of the Residence Building, which are under Four Seasons supervision. This includes protecting company and homeowner assets from theft, fire, damage and assisting in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all persons in the location. Responds to a wide variety of homeowner requests by accurately assessing the resident’s needs and inquiries; offering personal recommendations and personalized touches to achieve maximum resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
TASKS
- Handles all homeowner interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves complaints, assists homeowners in all enquiries in connection with services, hours of operations, key personnel, directions, etc.
- Acts in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of homeowners and employees. Responds swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situation.
- Patrols the interior and exterior of the residential buildings and confront any situations or persons that require investigation
- Handle and document all resident, employee, visitor and contractor incidents, conduct investigations when needed
- Implement all policies, procedures and instructions regarding security and safety
- Assists in implementing preventive safety and security programs
- Assists staff in handling of any unusual or emergency incidents.
- Take an active role in the implementation of the property fire plan including the General Communication Center, the Command Post, all technical equipment and the roles each employee/manager plays
- Assist in trainings related to emergency procedures
- Control the key, lock system, alarm system, and fire protection system
- Make recommendations to the Director in security related matters

- Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas

- Ability to use variety of IT systems, including Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)
- Participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and property
- Act as the Supervisor on duty in the building and forms part of the Emergency Response team
- Assists Guest Service Attendants with responsibilities and duties in their absence or due to heavy volume periods
- Participates in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of policies and changes
- Ability to read memos, communication log and safety rules.
- Ability to use telephone procedures as dictated by Four Seasons standards.

Job Responsibility
1- Establish & maintain Business Continuity Management System and its requirements, and maintain Business Continuity Plan for Security & Safety purposes.
