Our client, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Lead Installation Technician to manage and execute the installation of advanced security systems. This hybrid role requires a skilled technician who can provide both hands-on installation expertise and remote technical oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the flawless deployment of security hardware and software, including access control systems, CCTV networks, and alarm systems, for a wide range of commercial clients. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
As the Lead Installation Technician, you will guide your team through the entire installation process, from initial site surveys and system design verification to final configuration and client handover. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex technical issues, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and providing expert guidance to resolve them efficiently. You will liaise with clients to understand their security needs, provide training on system operation, and ensure their satisfaction. This role demands exceptional technical proficiency, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams. - Configuring and testing installed security systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Developing and maintaining detailed installation documentation and reports.
- Collaborating with project managers and sales teams to ensure project success.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Mentoring junior technicians and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in installing and servicing security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
- Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of security hardware, software, and networking principles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.
- Excellent understanding of security system integration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Relevant certifications in security systems installation are highly desirable.
