Overview

Primarily, a Senior Architect is expected to develop a project as needed, through all the design stages (concept/schematic to detail/construction drawings), while coordinating with all other disciplines and stakeholders. In the process, he will be in-charge of leading a project team of architect(s) and Revit / CAD technicians. He/she is also be expected to handle post contract duties on all design related matters during construction and aid the site team as required. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited University.

Post graduate degree / Masters of Architecture.

10+ years of experience in the field of architectural engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture Development:

• Design comprehensive scalable, and interoperable solutions to meet customer needs, including integrated digital substations, centralized and distributed architecture incorporating hardware, software, and communication interfaces.

• Design & Ensure solutions are cyber-resilience, customer compliant, and budget optimized.

• Develop, standardized and maintain solution blueprints and architectures.

• Solution Differentiation & Value Creation

• Create solution's differentiators aligned with market and addressing customer pain points.

• Demonstrate value propositions through technical performance, total cost of ownership (TCO), and system-wide benefits.

• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC), Demos, Workshops and pilot project initiatives to showcase solution feasibility and benefits.

• Pre-Sales, Proposal & Customer Engagement:

• Lead and support SPEC-In activities with technical specifications write up/guides to position GE Vernova solutions in customer tenders and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of digital substations, IEC standards & protocols, transmission & Distribution automation segment & solutions, Virtualization and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge and expertise in power management systems, load shedding / islanding schemes, distribution automation, microgrids and special protection schemes and/or remedial action schemes for grids and plants

Desired Characteristics
