POSITION OBJECTIVE
A restaurant manager’s primary role is to manage and control the day to day restaurant operations
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that FOH and BOH staffs are familiar with the day’s requirement.
- Ensure training of all staff is done prior to restaurant opening and whenever needed to maintain excellence of operation standards.
- Responsible for coordination with all related parties during the Pre-opening Phase of the restaurant to ensure that the Opening Date is reached with full readiness of entire aspects of staffing, training, stocking, menu, budgets, Marketing Plan, and all other aspects of operations.
- Ensure that all staff is treated fairly and with commonly accepted courtesy.
- Ensure that time tables, leave roasters and attendance registers are up-to-date.
- Coordinate with the executive chef and bartender for new menus as needed and to create a wide variety of new dishes and beverage list.
- Ensure that all communications between restaurant and kitchen run smoothly.
- Ensure that all purchased order have been delivered and stored.
- Responsible for the Profit and loss statement of the restaurant.
- Responsible for achieving set revenues and sales targets for the entire operation of the restaurant on both Floors.
- Managing the prompt efficient and courteous serving of food and beverage in the restaurant.
- Schedules working hours of all Service staff, taking into consideration volume of expected business (Reservations and timetables) and ensure that attendance registers are kept daily and that any absenteeism is immediately brought to the attention of the HR.
- Ensure that all staffs are under control are fully informed in respect of disciplinary procedures, the handling of grievances, etc.
- Ordering supplies and to ensure that all stocks are ordered to the correct quantities, quality and price.
- Managing all administration procedure and ensure that all documents are sent to the appropriate accounts department immediately for processing.
- Ensure that expenses are within budget limits.
- Managing the Tips division.
- Control and manage the monthly inventory.
- Managing the day to day function of all restaurant employees, facilities, daily stock checks/stock takes and sales.
- Ensure that all stocks are being kept securely and under the correct conditions applicable to each type of commodity stored
- Managing the daily briefing with the staff to ensure smooth running of the service sequences
- Hold weekly meetings with the Managing Partner to ensure that operation is going as it should and to ensure that any special arrangements are properly communicated.
- Responsible for the PR and Marketing activities and communication in order to maximize exposure, footfall and sales revenues of both levels of Restaurant.
- Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on all aspects of the restaurant operations, including but not limited to budgets, cost breakdowns and sales breakdowns (per food categories, customer profile, menu items, days of the week, etc) Health, Safety and Security
- Maintain the required standard of operational hygiene according to cleaning rotas at all times.
- Be aware of the Restaurant policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene, and fire life safety and ensure your direct reports do the same.
- Familiarize with emergency exits and evacuation procedures. Financial Management
- To achieve the budget by monitoring and controlling the departmental operations, considering restaurant and expenditure.
- On an ongoing basis, control and analyze departmental costs to ensure performance against budget;implementing corrective measures where necessary to produce positive business results.
- Comply with the company's corporate code of conduct.
- Familiarize yourself with the company values and model desired behaviors.
- Perform tasks as directed by the Management in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.

To lead, inspire and motivate the store team to deliver highest level of customer service. To effectively manage the support departments of store operations focusing on operational efficiency: Store management includes Cashiers, Inventory, Customer Care, Visual Merchandising and Security for operational efficiency.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:
1 Lead, inspire and motivate store teams to achieve top and bottom line targets
2 Monitor and review activities of all support functions against pre-determined targets that are set as per the AOP including productivity increase & improving efficiency
3 Work closely with Country Manager – Operations to develop and implement manpower plan and budget for the store
4 Work closely with the Country Manager to set targets for each category within the store and communicate targets to each team within the store
5 Ensure the store is operating as an independent profit center focusing on improving efficiency/productivity and the expenditure of the store
Achieving the store KPIs ATV, Conv., targeted penetration etc.
6 Work with Team Leaders to develop rosters that provide full coverage across all support departments
7 Collate training and development needs across the allocated area and follow up on training requirements to ensure store skills are adequately updated
8 Ensure the store is operating in line with standard operating procedures in order to prevent any losses through damage or pilferage and protect profits and feedback any recommended changes to the Country Manager for review and sign off before implementing
9 Work closely with the TL’s/DM’s to review, monitor and track performance of each department on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
10 Ensure store layout is in line with store planograms and visual merchandising is in line with brand guidelines
11 Monitor product availability for any in store promotions. campaigns, reporting any shortfalls to the Country Manager
12 Conduct regular team meetings with the teams to communicate performance, expectation, recognize good performance and communicate other business related updates
13 Ensure any store specific projects e.g. store maintenance or improvements are rolled out in store to time and to budget without interruptions to store operations and any delays are escalated to the Country Manager
14 Monitor and review support department performance and collate any specific development requirements to Country Manager
15 Handle any specific escalated customer queries
16 Training to store teams to enhance productivity & efficiency
Qualitative Requirements:
5-7 Yrs of experience in Retail Sales including 2-3 years of people management
Preferably Post Graduate – preferably an MBA Retail Management

Job Purpose:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of a Kuwaiti entity from Bahrain, ensuring full compliance with Kuwait’s Capital Markets Authority (CMA) laws and regulations. The parent company of Kuwait entity is based in Bahrain.
The role involves financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, budgeting, internal reporting, and collaboration with auditors and regulators. This position plays a key role in supporting company’s operations and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Planning
- Manage and supervise all finance and accounting operations for the Kuwait entity.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including the financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Kuwait CMA regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the required reports.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Kuwait CMA laws, circulars, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance departments to ensure accurate regulatory filings.
- Liaise with CMA inspectors and manage audit or review processes as required.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the Kuwait entity.
- Analyze variances and provide insightful reporting and recommendations to senior management.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Develop and enforce robust internal controls in line with Kuwait regulatory frameworks.
- Support enterprise risk management initiatives, especially those involving financial and regulatory risk.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, external consultants, and regulatory body in Kuwait.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the board of directors and executive management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIA) required.
- Prior experience with investment companies and cross-border operations is preferred .
- Proven knowledge of Kuwait CMA laws , regulatory requirements, and financial reporting obligations.
- Strong command of IFRS , financial modeling, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with investment products, portfolio accounting, and fund structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Fluency in Arabic & English.
- Open to travel to Kuwait (when required).
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience working within financial services.
- Knowledge of GCC financial regulatory environments .
