  • Develops and maintains partnerships between the university, local schools, alumni networks, community partners, and other identified groups throughout the assigned territory/population.
  • Develops and maintains a database of potential candidates.
  • Coordinates university participation in local, regional, and international recruitment fairs, conferences, and related outreach events; coordinates event-specific organizational aspects, promotional materials, and information from the university and its colleges, educational programs, and degrees.
  • Participates in and/or organizes and implements all aspects of general, college, and program-oriented events utilizing presentation and promotional materials.
  • Visits middle schools, high schools, and colleges; speaks to groups and individual students; meets with school counselors, administrators and/or other constituent groups to promote outreach activities and as required to assist other recruiters.
  • Conducts market research to collect information on what is available in the higher education sector.
  • Responds to students' and candidates' inquiries.
  • Acts as the focal person for internal coordination of student recruitment and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
  • Prepares reports and proposals regarding recruitment and outreach activities and responds to inquiries from students and minority agencies.
  • Creates, packages, monitors, and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs; develops mentorship programs; analyzes trends in recruitment and retention programs; develops strategies for program evaluation.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Job Purpose
Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and monitoring a disciplined environment conducive to learning. Acts as a consultant for students, parents, and teachers on all student management issues and behavioral matters in order to create a safe learning environment and help students become responsible, self-disciplined individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Student Supervisor(s) and ensuring effective performance and proper execution of all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Providing supervisors with daily infraction reports for a proper follow-up with students and teachers.
  • Ensuring that teachers are abiding by the school code of conduct and the SABIS Educational System.
  • Ensuring the student line-up process prior to, during, and after recess takes place in a timely and efficient manner as well as assisting supervisors in managing corridors between periods efficiently.
  • Ensuring that students are in class before the start of the day and after every recess in a timely manner.
  • Assembling the required team to oversee students during events or extracurricular activities.
  • Mentoring and advising students, especially those with disciplinary issues, on the importance of discipline at school and its role in creating a safe learning environment.
  • Motivating students to work hard during class in order to achieve maximized learning during school hours.
  • Ensuring that data is accurately entered into the SABIS School Management System/ SABIS Information System (SSMS/SIS) including teacher and student attendance reports, student infractions, and discipline remarks, which will be included in the student's report cards on a term-by-term basis, etc.
  • Holding meetings with parents whose children have disciplinary issues in order to inform them of the situation and actions that may occur.
  • Encouraging parents to access the SABIS Digital Platform regularly.
  • Following up with parents of students who have frequent absences and/or infractions in order to promote compliance with the school's attendance and behavior expectations, and ensure that they are kept up-to-date on potential issues and actions.
  • Ensuring an environment conducive to learning through proper class observation.
  • Maintaining a safe atmosphere within the school and making sure that neither bullying nor fighting is taking place by conducting advising classes, scheduling weekly team meetings, and/or holding individual student meetings.
  • Coordinating with the SLC to follow up on Discipline Prefects' work and ensure that they are doing their job efficiently and effectively.
  • Advising students regularly on different topics such as but not limited to fighting, bullying, cheating, etc.
  • Accompanying students to the bus area after school hours and making sure that all students get on their allocated bus.
  • Ensuring that all students leave school safely after school hours are over.
  • Holding weekly meetings with the team to discuss any concerns or issues they may have regarding student behavior and recommending proper solutions and corrective actions.
  • Staying well-informed on current events and activities at the school.
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of the SABIS student management systems and policies.
  • Performing other related tasks or projects as they arise and as delegated by the school management.

Ideal Requirements
