The role entails

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing the priorities and goals for your product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales
  • Address common challenges across projects, align on priorities, enable informed decisions, and keep business execution on track
  • Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities
  • Communicate your product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment and manage expectations
  • Conduct usability testing, analyse user feedback, and iterate on the product to improve the user experience
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to develop go-to-market strategies, create product documentation, and provide training

  • Oversee the work of a product line, ensuring consistency in strategy and execution across different teams
  • Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts within different teams and across other departments

Job Description

A highly driven Sales Engineer with technical expertise in crane and lifting gear inspections, committed to promoting safety, compliance, and operational reliability through certified third-party inspections. Bridging engineering knowledge with strong interpersonal acumen to deliver tailored solutions for clients across sectors .

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze customer requirements to provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the Branch manager to develop strategies for customer engagement and growth.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and improvement efforts.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the technical aspects of products and solutions offered.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically to address customer needs.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Product demonstration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Technical documentation software (e.g., Confluence, Microsoft Word).

Ensure all sales opportunities are supported by the appropriate installation and/or operation teams.
- Initiate sales process, pre-qualify customers/partners and coach sales through to order.
- Preparation of sales proposals, estimates and take offs.
- Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid documents.
- Study tender documents including drawings, project specification, BOQ, scope of work, contract details and conditions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical sales, with knowledge of laboratory equipment in industries such as mining, metals, and cement.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with industrial lab systems and equipment.
  • Process Knowledge: Familiarity with process automation and electrical systems to understand project requirements effectively is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency : Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within the Middle East to meet with partners and clients.
  • Work Ethic: Positive attitude, self-driven, capable of working independently, and meeting deadlines.
  • Motivation: Highly responsible and motivated to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Arabic is a plus.
