The IT Quality Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. **Responsibilities**:

- Conducts a variety of process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments.
- Documents findings and prepares nonconformance reports.
- Tracks nonconformance items and ensures items are resolved before project moves to production.
- Creates and maintains testing verification matrices.
- Gathers, maintains and reports on quality metrics.
- Verifies traceability in project work products.
- Exhibits good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.
- Has limited but direct impact on the team and closely related teams through the quality of the tasks services provided.
- Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical way; recognizes audience diversity.

**Qualifications**:

- ** 2- 5+ years of experience in automation testing with Hands on experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Java, Cucumber**:

- Exposure to both **functional and non-functional testing, manual and automation testing preferable in banking and financial domain**:

- Create automation test plans, test cases, scenarios & ensuring quality assurance for software development projects in various stages & managing process control as per standards
- QA Experience in defining, designing & executing test cases
- Exposure on functional Test Automation & hybrid, keyword-driven, data-driven, Behavior Driven automation frameworks.
- High level of **programming and SQL skills e.g. Java/.NET, python**, development in** Linux environment (shell scripting)**:

- Stay abreast of latest **Test Automation, Automation tools and frameworks **and also, with new trends, Open Source, Continuous Integration & Continuous Development (**CI & CD such as Jenkins, UDeploy, BitBucket, JIRA, TeamCity, SonarCube**).
- Analyze test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing
- Good understanding of project management principles and familiarity in different development & testing methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and deliver powerful presentations to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
- Good team player with the ability to lead, manage and work independently in a timely sensitive environment.

As an Ubuntu Release Engineer, you must be passionate about the future of Ubuntu, about quality and continuous integration and testing. You will work closely with multiple teams at the heart of Ubuntu and drive quality excellence. You will work closely with the Ubuntu Desktop, Server and Foundations team and put in place metrics for quality. You will research existing issues, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and identify opportunities for improvement and communicate them to the rest of the organization to drive the overall quality of Ubuntu. Location: This is a Globally remote role

What your day will look like

  • Monitor indicators of quality across the Ubuntu ecosystem and products
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Ubuntu Desktop, Ubuntu Server and Ubuntu Core
  • Enhance our continuous integration to guard Ubuntu image, release and package quality
  • Report on KPIs and analytical insights
  • Empower other teams for better planning and constant quality improvements
  • Develop, enhance and automate test cases, from unit tests to end-to-end multi machine workloads
  • Work from home with international travel twice a year, for events up to two weeks long

What we are looking for in you

  • A strong software engineering, Linux, and open source background
  • In-depth knowledge of Python and Shell scripting
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience working with others to identify, isolate and resolve issues
  • Experience with quality processes and continuous integration tools
  • Experience working in an agile development environment

Additional Skills That You Might Also Bring

Experience with Debian/Ubuntu based operating system and good understanding of Debian packaging and snaps would also be a considerable advantage.

Inaugurated in November 2022 and owned by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) is the world’s leading new exhibition and convention venue for 2023, and the Middle East's leading large-scale wedding venue for 2024. Job Description

To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards based on the responsibility of the company in the logistics chain for all the products in the warehouse and to provide solutions on the day-to-day operation.

As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.

Description of Activities or Essential Functions of the Position
  1. Plan management needs to comply with regulatory requirements and standards of the industry in force within the framework of the Quality Management System.
  2. Ensure the documentation, traceability, and approval necessary for compliance with the regulatory requirements in the company's logistics chain (storage, packaging, dispatch, distribution) of products available at the warehouse.
  3. Serve and advise interested parties (clients, local authorities, suppliers, workers, corporate) on issues related to compliance with regulatory requirements and current industry standards within the framework of the Quality Management System.
  4. Clean and comply with the organization of the warehouse and/or warehouse in compliance with the 5S program.
  5. Assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental, and health and safety KPIs.
  6. Develop or update procedures for capturing, investigating, and documenting product complaints.
  7. Monitor risk-management procedures, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers.
  8. Provide training and support to quality assurance team members that covers systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
  9. Ensure all relevant QHSE systems are implemented and practiced as ISO standards and legal requirements on all DSV Bahrain operational facilities.
  10. Data collection and analysis by way of weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics reports.
  11. Assist Top Management in identifying any process gaps within the organization.
  12. Frequently visit the company’s facilities and conduct observation tours, HSE walk, HSE inspections, and implement other relevant HSE implementation tools.
  13. Work as an internal auditor for conducting IMS audits.
  14. Collaborate with the inventory department for conducting cyclical stock counts to maintain stock integrity and ensure that financial stock takes and stock counts are conducted according to client contracts and DSV cyclical requirements.
  15. Perpetually follow up on discrepancies, non-conformities, and report on developments.
Desired Candidate Profile Education, Experience, Technical Skills

Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline/ Diploma or Certificate holder.

Experience:

Minimum of 1-3 years in a Quality Assurance field, Inventory, or customer service environment within Logistics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years warehouse/logistics support experience.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance-related capacity.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Computer Skills:
  • Proficient with MS Office Applications.
  • WMS functions.
Language Skills:
  • Business writing proficiency.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, accomplishing job tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
