Job Description
Our client, a forward-thinking organization dedicated to providing high-quality pediatric care, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Lead Pediatric Occupational Therapist for a fully remote  position. This role is instrumental in developing and overseeing our telehealth occupational therapy services for children. You will lead a team of remote therapists, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, evidence-based interventions to support children's development and participation in meaningful activities. Responsibilities:
    Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for children with a range of developmental, sensory, motor, and cognitive challenges.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapeutic interventions via a secure telehealth platform.
- Supervise and mentor a team of remote pediatric occupational therapists, providing clinical guidance and support.
- Develop and implement standardized protocols and best practices for remote pediatric occupational therapy services.
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and technologies in pediatric occupational therapy and telehealth.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for staff and community partners.
- Champion the integration of assistive technology and adaptive strategies into the therapeutic process.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a significant portion focused on developmental, sensory integration, and fine motor interventions.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required.
- Proficiency and comfort with telehealth platforms and technology.
- Strong knowledge of child development, common pediatric diagnoses, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues remotely.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high standards of professional practice in a fully remote setting.
- A passion for advocating for children's needs and promoting their optimal development and participation.
