Mission statement
We are seeking a Delivery Manager to work across multiple squads, ensuring strategic technical alignment, continuous delivery, trading system reliability, and robust regulatory oversight.
Working closely with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering, you will champion a culture of measurable improvement, using DORA metrics and other industry-recognised frameworks to drive actionable, data-backed enhancements in the speed and quality of delivery.
You will empower teams to achieve their outcomes while coordinating across engineering, operations, and quality assurance to remove blockers and align delivery practices with business-critical objectives.
Your calm, decisive leadership will help transform complex challenges into clear, actionable plans, balancing the needs of rapid iteration with the stability and compliance requirements of financial markets.
For this role, you will need to be based and work along CET timezone hours (or maximum +/- 2 hours deviation).
Key Responsibilities
- Leading Continuous Delivery: Proactively drive the continuous delivery lifecycle, empowering teams to achieve their goals. Use DORA metrics and similar frameworks to assess and continuously improve the delivery process, driving actionable and demonstrable insights into performance and quality.
- Strategic Technical Alignment: Coordinate closely with the Head of Product, Head of Engineering, engineers, QA, and operations teams to ensure that technical delivery decisions align with business strategy, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement objectives.
- Trading System Reliability: Ensure that delivery practices consistently support the stability, risk management, and performance standards required for mission-critical trading systems.
- Regulatory Oversight: Partner with compliance teams and other control functions to ensure all development and deployment practices meet regulatory requirements, with proper documentation and auditability in place.
- Quality Assurance: Line manage QA engineers, manage the QA automation roadmap and work with the Head of Product & Head of Engineering to drive improvements to our automated regression and integrated testing processes.
- Proven track record of working in an engineering-led organization applying modern Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP).
- Demonstrated expertise in applying DORA metrics and similar industry frameworks to measure, evaluate, and improve delivery processes.
- Deep understanding of how large-scale, high-reliability software systems are designed, tested, deployed, and operated.
- Experience coordinating across product managers, engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, and compliance stakeholders.
- Background in high-performance, regulated environments such as finance, crypto, DeFi, or algorithmic trading is a strong plus.
- Background and understanding of trading and financial markets is a strong plus.
- Certifications in Agile, Lean, or related iterative software delivery methodologies are a plus
