This role requires a comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automobiles, possess excellent troubleshooting skills, and be committed to providing high-quality service. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify problems accurately.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and safety checks.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts and components.
  • Perform warranty repairs and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Keep abreast of new automotive technologies and repair methods.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle condition and repair recommendations.
  • Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in Automotive Technology is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
  • Experience with diagnostic scanners and electronic testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • ASE certifications are highly preferred.
