Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst specializing in Penetration Testing to join their growing security operations team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of on-site collaboration in Jidhafs, Capital, BH and remote work flexibility. The primary focus of this position is to identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses in our client's IT infrastructure, applications, and systems through rigorous testing and analysis. You will conduct various types of penetration tests, including network penetration testing, web application security testing, and wireless network assessments. Responsibilities include planning and executing security assessments, identifying and documenting vulnerabilities, providing actionable remediation recommendations, and verifying the effectiveness of implemented security controls. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of common attack vectors, exploitation techniques, and security best practices. Proficiency with a range of security tools and methodologies is essential. You will collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the system development lifecycle. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and reporting skills. Staying current with the latest threat landscape and security trends is critical for success.

- Identify, assess, and document security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Utilize various security tools and techniques to simulate real-world attacks.
- Develop detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and recommended remediation steps.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to address identified security issues.
- Perform security control validation and assist in security audits.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methods.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of security testing methodologies.
- Participate in security awareness training and incident response efforts as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on penetration testing.
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Kali Linux.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and management.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP) are a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
