Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to: service agreements, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, partnership agreements, and software licenses.
- Advise internal business units on contract interpretation, legal risks, and compliance matters.
- Ensure that all contracts adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting through execution and renewal.
- Liaise with external counsel when necessary for specialized legal advice.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial agreements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of contract templates and standard legal clauses.
- Assist in dispute resolution related to contractual matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
- Admission to the bar and in good standing in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contract law, either in private practice or in-house.
