- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a reputable institution.
- Admission to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction and maintaining good standing.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience specifically focused on corporate and commercial contract law, preferably within a corporate legal department or a top-tier law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of complex contractual agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of contract principles, remedies, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of international commercial law and trade practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Outstanding negotiation and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a demanding environment.
- Proficiency in contract management software and legal research databases.
- Experience in corporate governance and compliance is a beneficial addition.
