**About the position: Corporate French Language Trainer**
We are looking for engaging, energetic, and intelligent individuals from different backgrounds who will help transform our clients’ communication skills and make them more competitive in today’s dynamic business world. We need people who are passionate about teaching/training and can bring excitement to the learning experience.
As a trainer, you will be conducting Live online lessons to our clients. Our learners are mostly business professionals and executives. On any given day, you may have a CEO, senior manager of a top company, scientist, doctors, lawyers, or other professionals from highly-specialized fields as your learner.
**What will you do?**
- Deliver live video training sessions to 1 learner or to a group of up to 5 learners per session;
- Write lesson reports to the learner groups to document what was covered in each session
- Classroom teaching experience, face-to-face or virtual (a major plus, but should not be a prerequisite)
- Excellent class facilitation skills ensuring each learner has equal talk time
- Confident
- Engaging and can hold the attention of all participants throughout a 90-minute class
- Good multitasking skills
- Comfortable navigating a number of programs simultaneously
- Comfortable using a webcam
- Able to adapt programs to the language needs of a group
**What You’ll Need?**
- Must be willing to work from home
- Must have an energetic, pleasant, and engaging personality
- A Bachelors’ degree is required
- Training, teaching, or tutoring experience, preferably to a group (Minimum of 1 year)
- Understands the principles of adult learning
- Business and/or corporate experience (Minimum of 3 years)
- First or second language must be English with Excellent English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing --- grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.)
- On-camera teaching experience is an advantage
- Able to multitask using different platforms for teaching
- Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Good computer skills
- Know how to multitask
- Quiet, dedicated workspace
**Technical Requirements**:
- PC or laptop (Windows 10 with 8 GB of RAM or Mac OSX El Capitan or equivalent)

The duties and responsibilities of the CYP Assistant Training Specialist can be grouped into categories, including training, classroom and program support, compliance, and additional responsibilities. Each is described below.
**Training** - Assists in the development of a CYP training plan and assists with identifying and addressing training need. Assist with orientation training for new CYP employees. Assists inexecution of Standardized Module Training and completion of orientation, initial, an ongoing annual training.
Assist in maintaining training records and individual training plans and preparing training status reports. Assists in ensuring completion and documentation of required monthly training. Works with CYP Program Assistants to ensure modules are completed. Encourages and supports of continuing higher education of employees and providers. Provides information about the Child Development Associate (CDA), the Military School-Age Credential (MSA), and higher level opportunities. Mentors employees in this effort.
**Classroom/Program Support** - Assists in supporting and implementing the required Navy curriculum to be used by CYP (i.e., supports implementation and execution of the Navy standardized curriculum within the Child Development Center (CDC), including assisting CY Program Assistants and Leaders by documenting observations and assessments, evaluating classroom environments, reviewing weekly activity plans, and providing additional training when needed). Assists in ensuring the quality and consistency of developmental programming to include environment, equipment, materials, program structure, curriculum, risk management practices, and oversight and coordination of activity schedules and lesson plans. Assists in coordinating programming that supports the children and youth's physical, social/emotional, cognitive and language development regardless of setting or length of time in care. Completes monthly classroom observations and assists in providing feedback. Role models appropriate behaviors and techniques working with children and youth. Assist in selecting developmentally appropriate toys, materials, and equipment. Helps to maintain a resource file library to aid in preparing lesson plans and activity schedules and to assist with training objectives. Additional Responsibilities In the absence of the CYP Training Specialist, incumbent may assume Training Specialist responsibilities and perform duties and requirements of the position under the guidance of the CYP Director with Oversight. Incumbent is a mandatory reporter to Family Advocacy and Child Protective Services as prescribed by local policy in the case of suspected incidences of child abuse and neglect. Performs other duties as assigned.
