We are seeking a **Managing Director (MD) for SAP Pakistan, Bahrain, and Iraq** . This position is responsible for the overall performance of these market units, driving strategic planning and execution, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the broader business planning process across the Middle East and EMEA.
This is a critical leadership role, and we are therefore seeking a senior executive with proven general management experience in the High-Tech industry, ideally within a multicultural and matrix environment.
The role reports into the **President for SAP Middle East and Africa - North.**
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
**Maximise the opportunity:**
The MD will take overall **P&L responsibility** for the performance of the Pakistan, Bahrain, and Iraq market units. He/she will lead strategic planning efforts aligned to the overall EMEA strategy, ensuring SAP's offerings are tailored to **local customer needs and regional opportunities** .
**Drive operational excellence:**
This role requires a disciplined, structured approach to execution. The MD will be accountable for designing and implementing **go-to-market strategies** , leveraging solid operational metrics, and ensuring excellence across all business processes.
**Build and lead an A-caliber team:**
The MD will ensure these market units have **top talent at all levels** , especially in key leadership roles. He/she will foster a **high-performance culture** built on accountability, collaboration, and trust.
**Lead across a matrix organization:**
Beyond sales, the MD is responsible for the effective operation of all business functions in Pakistan, Bahrain, and Iraq, ensuring alignment and collaboration with regional and global teams. This requires strong leadership and experience in guiding cross-functional teams.

**WORK EXPERIENCE**
+ Extensive leadership experience in large, multi-national technology or software organizations.

+ Deep familiarity with the **Pakistan, Bahrain, and Iraq markets** , including SAP customers and partners.
+ Experience leading significant business transformation, expansion, or turnaround efforts.
+ Strong customer and partner focus, with a history of delivering results through strategic sales leadership.
+ Minimum of **10-15 years in sales or general management roles** , with a track record of driving growth in complex environments.
+ Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
+ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, industry trends, and market dynamics.
