Responsibilities include:
- Managing and optimizing all daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Overseeing the maintenance and effective utilization of production equipment.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the production floor.
- Managing, training, and developing a team of production supervisors and line workers.
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.
- Managing the production budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on production efficiency and output.
- Implementing best practices in manufacturing and operational excellence.
- Managing inventory of raw materials and finished goods related to production.
- Driving innovation and efficiency in production processes and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. An MBA or Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production planning and control systems (e.g., ERP, MES).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies is desirable.
- Familiarity with the manufacturing sector in the GCC region is an advantage.

About the Role
As a Field Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in representing UpGradelle CS’s advanced engineering services and driving sales efforts across the GCC region. This role offers you the chance to travel across the region, meet key decision-makers, and build long-lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industrial manufacturing and systems engineering within the GCC region.
- Client Engagement : Engage with potential clients on-site and remotely to understand their operational challenges and how UpGradelle’s solutions can improve their processes.
- Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop a sales strategy for promoting engineering solutions, including automation, optimization, and digital transformation to potential clients.
- Proposals & Presentations : Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management : Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations (engineers, operations managers, and executives).
- Market Intelligence : Keep up with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal engineering teams to ensure proposals and solutions meet client requirements.
- Sales Reporting : Monitor and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and progress to senior leadership.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or project management within industrial manufacturing, engineering, or systems engineering.
- Solid understanding of industrial technologies, digital transformation, and automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to close sales and manage client relationships.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.

- Ensures area of responsibility is operating in agreement with all referenced DLA Distribution SOPs, addendums, FRAGOS, and Process Manuals as required for day-to-day operational processing and preparation for any audit event.
- Responsible for compliance with the Audit Assertion Program reporting and documentation requirements, to include monthly assertion reporting that assigned areas of responsibility are ready for audit and or corrective action plans are documented and being corrected if an assertion cannot be made.
- Responsible for the Audit Assertion Program functional areas of Quality Control and Customer Service.
- Three (3) years-experience in the Quality Control field
- Experience with Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
- Extensive knowledge of WMS, DSS, QLIK and QMF.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software.
- Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team
- Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision
- Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.
