Assistance Multi-Task Senior Technician can attend and carry out repair and preventive maintenance works for air conditioning & ventilation units, electrical distribution systems, water supply systems, and plumbing for Gulf Aviation buildings.

MAIN DUTIES
  1. Attend work order requests from client (GAA/GF) to repair and maintain Air conditioning & ventilation HVAC (including Chilled water system), Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing (MEP) i.e. electrical circuits and power distribution systems, water supply, sanitary fittings, storage water tanks, water pumps, plumbing, and drainage.
  2. Assist in carrying out applicable preventive maintenance program (PPM) for the above-mentioned building services and equipment according to equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and GFG Facilities Management directions.
  3. Assist in preparation of daily and monthly service reports including Chiller’s daily inspection report for the above-mentioned Building Services and equipment for attention and action of GFG FM.
  4. Assist in preparation of list of necessary spares required for the satisfactory completion of the above-mentioned PPM and routine maintenance.
  5. Assist in preparation of report to GFG FM on the required spares and verify the defective spares; moreover, provide root cause of failure report including carrying out troubleshooting for better performance of the equipment.
  6. Attend emergency breakdown calls during normal working hours and if required after normal working hours.
  7. Attend and close work order requests as soon as possible and report status of the works i.e. completed, on-hold, and which are not completed and provide justification for delays.
  8. Assist Senior Technician to update list of existing equipment and building service installations for preparation of maintenance schedules or program of works.
  9. Follow-up and supervise outsourced maintenance contractors and ensure that preventive maintenance activities are carried out properly for the special type equipment and services e.g., firefighting & Fire alarm, UPS, Stand-by Generators, Chiller unit, and swimming pool equipment.
EDUCATION

Holder of Diploma/High National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Technical High School Certificate in Air conditioning engineering or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3-5 years with any reputable Air-conditioning Contractor or Building Services Facilities Management company in the capacity of Air-conditioning Mechanic and Electrician.

Main Objectives

To carry out tasks as designated by the Aircraft Lic Maintenance Technician or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to an acceptable standard of workmanship, and in accordance with aircraft approved documents.

To support Gulf Air operation at any network station as required in case of AOG recovery or as necessary.

Main Duties
  1. Work with, and under the direction of the designated A/C Engineers/Lic Technicians to carry out routine tasks and non-routine tasks.
  2. Replace components on Company or other operators aircraft and engines as required.
  3. Strictly adhere to company staff rules and regulations.
  4. Strictly adhere to company safety rules and regulations and to wear proper uniform and safety shoes while on duty.
  5. Adhere and comply with aircraft approved maintenance documents instructions when performing any routine tasks and non-routine tasks and acquaint self with all the safety-related precautions to avoid personal injuries or damages to aircraft structures and systems.
  6. Make sure that all equipment and tools used for aircraft maintenance are in serviceable and safe condition. Report any faulty equipment or tool to Engineer or Duty Manager; unserviceable tool/equipment must be isolated and tagged.
  7. Service equipment and aircraft special tools as deemed necessary to maintain them in a serviceable, safe and clean condition.
  8. As part of maintenance practice, make sure that all tools used to perform any routine and non-routine task are registered, to ensure they are removed on task completion.
  9. On completion of routine tasks and non-routine tasks, make sure that work area is tidy and free from any loose articles.
  10. Assist in positioning and clearing equipment to carry maintenance tasks on aircraft.
  11. Make sure that all tools and equipment used are returned to proper location.
  12. Perform the headset duties during engine ground runs and aircraft towing in accordance with company TIM procedures.
  13. Adhere to Airside Safety Rules and Regulations in regard to driving and work area cleanliness.
  14. Purchase an approved tool kit containing appropriate tools to perform duties on the company and third-party fleets.
  15. Perform the required duties in accordance with AME and Duty Manager instructions and aircraft approved documentation procedures.
  16. Maintain a high level of self-discipline and respect for superiors' instructions.
  17. Become familiar with Gulf Air Information System AMOS and its basic transactions related to this work scope.
Experience

It will be advantageous to have 3 to 5 years working as an A/C technician and/or general experience in a similar field. An apprenticeship with a reputable Aircraft Maintenance Organization shall be an additional advantage.

Qualifications

Must be able to write, read and understand English to be able to understand aircraft approved documentation procedures while performing routine and non-routine tasks on the company fleet during maintenance input.
It will be an advantage to pass Basic Aircraft License Modules or hold a valid EASA Basic Aircraft License or equivalent which is recognized by BCAA and company Technical Quality Assurance.

Our client, a well-established industrial and commercial service provider, is actively seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their robust operations team. This full-time, on-site position is located in Muharraq, Muharraq, BH , serving a diverse range of clients across the island. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of electrical tasks, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of electrical systems and equipment. Our client is committed to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of their clients' electrical infrastructure. This role is crucial for minimizing downtime, ensuring operational continuity, and upholding the highest safety standards within industrial and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns using a variety of testing devices (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes).
  • Execute repairs on electrical circuits, wiring, control panels, motors, lighting systems, and other electrical components.
  • Install new electrical systems, conduits, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and safety regulations.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns, providing efficient and effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections performed.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues and ensure integrated system functionality.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of electrical spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices.
  • Identify opportunities for electrical system improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety procedures for electrical work.
  • Ensure proper grounding and bonding of electrical systems.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in an industrial or commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, power distribution systems, motor controls, and PLC systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing various electrical components and systems.
  • Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations related to electrical work (e.g., NFPA 70E).
  • Valid Bahraini driving license.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and hot environments.
  • Availability for on-call duty or extended hours when necessary.
