  • Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls from various vendors.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, identifying and resolving network issues and outages in a timely manner.
  • Perform network troubleshooting and diagnostics, implementing solutions to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Develop and implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades and expansion projects, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems.
  • Conduct capacity planning and recommend network enhancements based on traffic analysis and growth projections.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay current with emerging telecommunications technologies and industry trends.
  • Respond to emergency network situations and provide on-call support as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications network engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of various telecom technologies such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VoIP, and LTE/5G.
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Huawei).
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
  • Experience with fiber optic network design and implementation is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Shakhura, Northern, BH and participate in on-call rotations.
